brunch at Midas Hotel

As I've said, husband came from a bout of flu during the holidays so aside from our bike ride, this is another sort of celebration for getting healed.

We rarely eat in hotels(we reserve this on our out of town trips). You may consider this already as a BIG thing for us. I love the ambience in the lobby, so fragrant, as if may nakabasag at tumapon na pabango. Naku, guilty ako dito. Ilang beses na nangyari sa akin ito. But unlike me, my boys are like Wolverines, they didn't like the idea. Ang sakit daw sa ilong. Mabuti naman ang mabango kesa mabaho.

The cafe's interiors in itself was nice. I like that it was well-ventilated and facing the bay, but no view yet since it's only on the second floor.

Instead of having a buffet breakfast, we chose ala carte for p650 pesos each. Lugi kasi. My son is a picky eater, plus we don't like the feeling of 'food coma'. Tsaka, di ba nag-exercise kami? Mawawalan ng saysay.

A Continental set menu breakfast(with cereals, coffee, fruit juice/fresh fruits, croissant/rolls) for me and my husband...

and a Filipino set menu for my son.

Everything was yummy, but I prefer fruit juices freshly squeezed not made of powder. One more, I needed to ask for butter on my bread. Di ba dapat kasama na yun? But when I asked for some, ang dami naman binigay. Ask and you will received.

Service was excellent. I told my husband we should come back and try their Japanese buffet. I heard masarap daw.
