Today isn't a regular Tuesday for me. I went with the husband with his business related trip South of Manila. We left at nearly 6am to avoid the rush hour's monstrous traffic.

Today is another zumba day at 2-3 pm. I want to go early so that I could mall hop again(always actually). I was there na at 12:30, I registered for a slot and went to Trinoma again.

busy on a Sunday?

I'm happy that I'm on my third week na of attending Sunday mass early in the morning...

I was five minutes late. First reading na when I arrived. Today is the feast of Sto. Niño. As His children, we are reminded to be childlike, always relying on God's presence and love in our lives.

Since my husband was on his regular Sunday bike me time and my son went to work for an overtime, I decided to go to mass at 8:30 am. I find it solemn and cooler at this time of the day. Next Sunday nga uli. I proceeded to the wet market afterwards. When I got home, I cleaned my fresh produce, tucked them away in the freezer and did the laundry. I then started cooking Pork Sinigang(for dinner), Torta Alamang and Ginataang Sigarilyas for lunch. Yes, I was on a roll. I even had my breakfast at almost 11 am. Hay, sinabi ko ngang iiwasan ko na mag-multi task eh. Haha.

Because I was assuming that I'll be devouring yummy food later, I went to the gym first today.

Our friend is based in San Francisco, California. She's on a short visit because it is her Mom's birthday. We decided to eat at Bagoong club which specializes in Filipino food.

social life ignited Part 2

It was my student's(in Grade 3?) invitation last May 21. He wishes to see his former mentors since he's in Manila till the end of June. He is now based in is hometown province Isabela. He belongs to a political family, his father being the incumbent town mayor. When his father isn't available, he takes over as OIC. At 27, he is currently taking up Law. We are so proud of him.

Today is another errand day. My husband and I met at the mall after his work lunch time. I went to the bank, window shopped and shopped for some grocery items.

We tried out one of the newest restos at SM North the Block. It is just right in front of Hypermart(grocery).

It's the usual errand day. Husband and I agreed to meet up at the mall to fulfill our obligations.

After my grocery shopping, we agreed to eat here but we shied away from ordering the same meals again.

After days of no exercise because of monsoon rains, we headed today to our favorite playground. My husband ran while I biked for 13 kilometers. It was still gloomy at 3pm and we didn't feel much humidity unlike weeks ago.

A day after recovering from Vertigo, I went out. Feeling ko yung one day that I was stuck in my bed isang linggo na akong nasa bahay. Haha. The lakwachera in me strikes again.

We agreed to wait here at Coffee Bean for my son(from work) and for the Jurassic World screening time. 

I fell in love with this cheesecake variant back when I had a reunion with my bff last May and swear to have my husband taste it. It made me let go of my fondness with their blueberry cheesecake. I think Sugarhouse now owns the crown for it. At first it wasn't in their display window. Buti na lang I asked the manager about it. Available daw pero nakatago. Huh? Ganon ba siya ka-in demand?

I was invited by my Mom and sis to lunch. I don't normally go out on Sundays dahil the weekend tends to be too crowded but since I haven't tried it before, I quickly gave in. I drove to Yabu Robinson's Magnolia for our girl bonding. 

It was full as expected and we have to wait for an available table for ten minutes.

Yesterday, my Mom texted me asking if I could accompany her and my sis to lunch in the nearby mall. Husband was out for bike Sunday and son was enjoying his usual day off- playing video games online. So, I thought it would be nice kung mag day off din ako even for a while. Hehe.

Since we've been here in Tagaytay countless times in the past, the urge to seek for new restos to dine in goes on, too. We chose an unassuming eating joint along the main highway going to Nasugbu from the Rotonda just right in front of Sotogrande subdivision.

I'm relieved that our once a week laundry woman Manang M is free tonight to assist me later. Yehey, washing the dishes wouldn't be a problem anymore.

birthday dinner updates

It has been quite a busy week. Cleaning the house never ends, aside from my usual routine managing a home of three. Tomorrow, I'll be hosting my once in a blue moon advance birthday dinner. Just an intimate one with my side of family, as I've mentioned a few days before.

It's a Saturday night so it's not surprising that a lot of people mostly families are out for dinner. It's our son's treat because he received his first paycheck na so it's his call where he wants us to eat. Father and son voted for Casa Verde, a Cebu based resto over my choice, Banoi's, a Vietnamese resto. Ang boring daw.
