the wonders of Oregano

Oregano is one of the few herbs I have in my garden. The first plant that I bought was weak that it died a month after. Good thing, I was able to propagate it beforehand.

Why did I consider having it in the first place in my garden? When taken by mouth it is good for treatment of coughs or asthma. In cooking, it is used as spice for dishes. The oil extracted from Oregano is used also in the treatment for acne, warts and dandruff. It can even act as an insect repellant, as well as medication for varicose veins and gum disease. Isn't it amazing?
