ADN Festival 2016

ADN means Aldub nation. It is known that I'm a follower of Aldub loveteam- Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza since day 1. Just click on this link to read my previous posts about them.

It is the first time that Aldub fans organized such a gathering for the two without the help of their managements or GMA network. To celebrate their Tamang Panahon first anniversary with a bang, they came up with an idea to have an assembly last October 16, Sunday. On my first try to register(via Twitter only), I failed to get a slot. Mabilisan talaga. I prayed that another round of registration will be scheduled. And I was right. This time I was able to register together with my husband. I  received a confirmation thru email and paid p1,000(p500 each) for our reg. fee at BDO immediately. Submitting my proof of payment  to the organizers was the last step. True enough in the succeeding days before the event, I was able to received my proof of payment confirmation and e-tickets as well.

we were on the road by 12 noon from QC via EDSA
Typhoon Lawin was felt in Manila, too but it didn't prevent us to attend this much awaited gathering.

Registration at SMX convention was swift. We were given our bands to be able to enter the venue.

We had to wait for 2pm to enter the venue so we decided to go to the nearest Cafe at SM MOA for coffee and dessert to bide our time.

Blueberry cheesecake
The time has come, we were able to enter the venue. I was surprised that at 3pm it was full na with 2,000+ participants(all ages, regardless of social classes). So we didn't able to get our own table but we manage to get some vacant monoblock chairs and chose to position ourselves at the back. You can feel the excitement in the air. Every time an Aldub related video was played, we all shout for joy. Haha.

we gained new acquaintances because of this event
We were entertained by our co-Aldub fans who prepared song and dance numbers for the event. A food stub was given so I immediately went to the food and beverage stations- a box of Mr. Pizza, three small bottles of Coke, mineral water and Magnolia ice cream for each participant.

a number of booths were also present...
Although we signed up with an intention to just meet and have fun with our co-Aldub fans, there's this collective wish within us that sana maka-attend ang MaiChard. And we weren't disappointed. You could just imagine how everyone went agog when Maine entered the venue around 4pm. All you could hear were people shrieking at the top of their lungs and chanting her name-"Maine! Maine!". She gave a short speech and stayed with an assurance na susunod si Alden. Ayun lalong nagkagulo. True enough after his Sunday Pinasaya show and Boardwalk event, Alden came up the stage. This is the first time that they both attended a fan organized event. Kaya sobrang saya namin. To our delight, he even sang for us- Rescue Me and Guardian Angel(?).

We loved that they stayed for an hour pa yata.

And the icing on the cake was-they agreed to walk around to engaged with their fans with a promise that everyone would be disciplined.

We were this near to them and we were able to shook their hands.  Woah!

a screencap from my actual video :)

We happily went home by 7pm with these items in our loot bag...

Thank you, ADN fest for making this well-organized event possible. Most of all, to the two-Maine and Alden. They are truly decent and humble kids with an enormous love and gratefulness for their fans, both worth emulating. You gotta love how this amazing two unites people. We will be here for you no matter what.
