Seattle's Best was our initial choice. But it was packed. We were craving for a cake over coffee but Krispy Kreme doesn't have them so it's out of the picture. Last choice was Figaro.

We were disappointed by the lack of wifi in the cafe. For me a cafe without internet services should be shut down. Way of life na yan ngayon. Hindi naman lahat pupunta doon para mag-kwentuhan katulad namin na magkasama na the whole day. We are subscribed to both Sun and Smart for 3G but it seems we can't get through also. Husband told me, "Remember we are in an Ayala owned property? Hindi kasi tayo Globe, (owned by the Ayalas). Ilista na nga natin yung mga hindi dapat puntahan na tambayan. Huwag na tayo umulit dito." May notion kasi kaming ganun. We have proved it again.
After we finished off our food, we headed to the car, made kwentos while we wait for our son's text. After a few minutes, he sent an SMS ma-lalate daw siya ng uwi. Mauna na daw kami. Ay...
Though it was an out of the whim plan that went sour, I enjoyed our quality time together. No need to wait for Valentine's day.
