Today, my husband and I decided to take a different driving route. We wanted to visit again San Fernando, Pampanga just to check out the sports depot that we frequent there whenever we visit the Northern part of Manila. We are obviously tired of city driving and the crowd in the malls. We want a different kind of date. We left at about 3pm.
Thunderstorm looming in the horizon just after the tollgate in Mindanao Avenue. This didn't dampen our spirits. Tuloy pa rin ang lakwatsa.

This was around Bulacan. But as we passed the last town, the clouds began to clear up.
After around forty minutes we reached our destination. We're sad that our fave Kahoy-an furniture shop has transferred to a different location since December. I realized that we went to Baguio this May but we didn't make a stopover here because we already ate at the nearby Nathaniel's restaurant. We also found out that the Adidas/Nike depo shops were pricey na. 20% off didn't convince us to buy a merchandise that should be lower pa. The price ceiling seemed to be high pa rin for a depot store. Di ba dapat mas lower ang price? We just bought an Adidas shirt for our son.
Before we left, we proceeded to Cafe France for merienda. We frequent their Greenhills branch because we really love their coffee. Unfortunately, they don't sell them.

In about forty minutes, we were home na. Faster than traversing Edsa going to Ortigas nowadays. My wishful thinking is to have Manila's clogged streets turn into ala express highway with a view like this...
