Food at Nalusuan Beach Resort

March 21-22, 2015

The resto stands also on 'stilts', too...


Initially, we almost got turned off by the influx of tourists(mostly Koreans) in the island. It is considered part of the island hopping tour and apparently, part of their stopover is to have their lunch in Nalusuan.
Although I knew it beforehand from what I've read online, I underestimated it. Korean invasion it is. The bright side about it is the more tourists that we have in our country, the better for those depending their employment and lives on this industry.

The food was pricey and very small in quantity. What do you expect in a resort in the middle of the sea? My Mom says, "kailangan pa daw kasi isakay ng bangka".

We ordered Sinigang na Anduhaw, Grilled stuffed squid and steamed rice. I have no pictures of it because we started eating na before I remembered to take one. Siguro dahil thirty-forty minutes dumating ang food. We "attacked" it right away sa sobrang gutom. We paid P650.00 (with senior citizen discounts).


As night time falls, we headed to the Bar just a few steps away from our cottage. This is where they serve dinner...

My sis and I ordered two bottled water and Pineapple shakes later. We paid P1350 in total with two senior citizen discounts(20 % ea).

Our complimentary breakfast was nothing short but ordinary. American and Continental breakfast.


Hindi ka mabubusog lalo na kapag nag-swimming ka muna bago kumain. Good thing we have a few more Muhlach ensaymadas with us. My tip is for you to bring lots of food or baon to save up on instead of ordering from them. But then again, sabi nga ng Mommy ko, 'kasi isasakay pa lahat sa bangka kaya mahal'.
