I spent half of my morning trying to account all my expenses from last year. I usually do this at the start of the year para malaman ko kung saan ako mag-a-adjust in the new year in terms of our family budget. By this, I would know too, kung may savings ako from last year's. It seems as expected, a big chunk of it napunta sa vacations. Our three major out of town trips- Baler, Aurora, La Luz, Batangas and Baguio(twice). I didn't include Subic during my birthday because we didn't stay overnight, a minor expense. Our SG plane tickets + Universal Studios are included too, because ako na ang sumagot doon and I booked last November.
The rest of our SG vacation expenses were shouldered by my husband. I don't mind spending for these kesa mapunta sa materyal na bagay na wala nang value as time goes by. No amount of money could top the memories, learnings and quality time with one's family.
Second, was my personal expenses- two pieces of jewelry, occasional shopping, pampa-beauty(facial, hairdye) and kitchenwares. These I seriously need to adjust, though compared to the time when I was working, low maintenance na ako. Still, I think I need to scrimp a bit more particularly in the shopping and pampa-beauty aspects. The rest of the expenses were just right- food, some of my son's personal/school needs, birthday/Christmas gifts, dine out with friends(thrice lang ata?), etc. In conclusion, I found out that I saved a lot more in 2013. I would definitely reverse this. It would be one of my top priorites this year.
Kasasabi ko pa lang na magtitipid ako this year eh. May mga kaibigang sadyang mapanukso...

In the afternoon, I visited the gym. Stayed for two hours, but I still looked 'cute' afterwards. Di man lang ako pinagpawisan after walking on the treadmill and some abdominal exercises. I'll do better next time. Weighed myself and felt happy that I still maintained my ideal weight despite of not exercising regularly and not dieting. I'm still reaping the fruits of my labor last year. Iba na ang may pondo sa exercise.
Dropped by the grocery and met up with my husband who came from work earlier and pagupit. We had our dinner at our fave Chinese fastfood resto, Dimsum Break. Took out Bistek rice for our son.
