Easter mass and Batman vs Superman

On a roll

One of those few days I got to open my laptop. Huwag lang mag-'turtle net', mas madali talaga dito than using my Blogger app on my phone or the Ipad. 

After my usual house chores and exercise(spinning for an hour) yesterday, I decided to update my blog. Allelujah!

I woke up today feeling tiresome despite my seven hour slumber. I didn't get to sleep soundly, plus I felt my eyes were bulging and my nape was kinda heavy. Headache, I suspect. Later in the day, I felt my throat was coming up with something, my eyes got itchy and my nose was like on fire. You betcha, I caught a bug; colds it is. Sa simpleng termino- sipon. So, walang epekto pala yun 1 thou mgs. of Vit. C(+ calcium) a day?

Anticipated Palm Sunday

My Mom and sis asked me to go to the salon, a four minute walk from our house,  to hand me over my take home pancit and cake from my youngest sis. I wasn't able to join them earlier today. A little backgrounder, we live in the same neighborhood but in different villages. That's why we sometimes meet up outside(most of the time at the church) in case we can't drop by in each other's abode. 

Our Friday

Husband needed to pay his cellular postpaid plan at Smart so we decided to drop by the mall where its nearest branch is located. We had our merienda first in one of our fave cafes, French Baker with our usual orders- Chicken ala king for him and Chicken salad for me, plus blueberry Danish on the side. They never fail to make our tummy happy.

Food galore

We love to eat but not too much that we can't handle. Would you believe we haven't tried any of the booming buffet restos around? It's our choice. Medyo talo kasi kami; Hubby and I are a lil conscious with our weight plus my son's a picky eater. 

We still enjoy dining out at least twice a week or get invited in family gatherings like birthdays and the like.

Sunog!

It's very rare that one could experience seeing a full blown fire on a neighborhood. Today, we saw one from our dirty kitchen's. I immediately looked for my phone cam to take a snap. It's somewhere in Valenzuela along Mindanao Avenue NLEX exit. 

Frankie is different

March 2 

If there's one thing that I hate, it's being sick. Of course, sino ba ang may gusto ng sakit? It's just that I'm a very active person, I don't like being a couch potato or unproductive the whole day. I'm back with my exercise regimen for two weeks na but here comes another hump in this journey. I've been feeling pain in my left side/back of my abdomen so I need to consult a doctor. Though I don't feel any pain in urinating I suspect it's Urinary tract infection(uti). Lagi naman yun ang sakit ko. Thought it's common to women(bec. we have a shorter urethra than men), na-praning na naman ako. What if I have cancer of the liver, kidney, pancreas? Ahhhh.... I need to stop overanalyzing. Baka lalo ako magkasakit sa stress!

TNT event with Aldub

Another out of the whim lakwatsa. My husband want to see Maine in person. Nakita ko na daw si Alden sa Sunday Pinasaya, si Maine naman daw. Obviously, we're both fans of this phenomenal love team. We don't normally do this. We love watching international artists in their concerts since the nineties plus my boys' fave local basketball teams in their games, but not much of showbiz artists. Disclaimer lang. Haha.

Pandora newbie

Finally caved in last night. I'm not much of a fan because I feel it's too pricey for a sterling silver piece of jewelry. It's hard to clean one too once it turns out grayish because of usage. I know since I had some in the nineties when it was so popular. I bought  silver candleholders too, I remember. Ayun kuskos to the max. Ang sakit sa kamay.

after twenty five years

Last Thursday, I got the chance to reunite with my College buddies. I was invited by our balikbayan classmate thru FB. She's currently based in New York and wants us to meet at Crisostomo Filipino resto in Blue Bay Macapagal in Pasay city by 7pm. It's a lil bit far from our place, but I didn't hesitate to go because I thought it would be nice to see them once again. My husband drove for me. I invited him to join us since he know them, too. Buthe insisted that he'll go biking around MOA na lang daw muna. We planned to get there early(5pm) to avoid the rush hour traffic. Good thing, it was a breeze. Walang stress. 

We decided to hit the Mall first to kill time. We chose to eat merienda first. Coffee and Antonio's bibingka. I think the rice cake is too pricey for its taste. The best pa rin ang Via Mare for me.

loaded week

I started this week with fixing my hair color last Tuesday. As what I've said before, I'm too lazy to go to the salon. The last time was December 30, when I had my haircut. My hair color is overdue na, October last year pa yata? Medyo may social life ako this week so I really needed to push myself to have it fixed. That was my motivation.

Magkakasakit ka lang kapag negative lang ang nasa isip mo. Eliminate or lessen those stressors in your life. Mas masarap maging masaya. Stay positive. 

Valentine's day 2016

We had an early dinner on Valentine's day at our latest fave place to dine in. Not in the mall, dahil tiyak ang daming tao. Papunta pa lang at papasok ma-stress ka na. We don't want to ruin our day just because of this. Magluluto na lang ako sa bahay kapag ganun. We decided to go to Petron-NLEX near Marilao exit(Bulacan) where a row of restos are available and is just ten to fifteen minutes away from our subdivision here in QC. Though we have to pay toll fees(p90 total), mas ok na yun stress-free ka naman.
